HOW TO CLEAN YOUR SHOES?

LEATHER SHOES

1. PREPARATION

  • Remove the laces and any other removable accessories to make cleaning easier.
  • Use a soft brush or dry cloth to gently remove surface dust and dirt. Be careful not to rub too hard to avoid damaging the leather.

2. CLEANING

  • Prepare a solution of warm water and mild soap. Use a clean, slightly damp cloth to clean stains and dirtier areas. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the leather.
  • Use a clean cloth dampened with clean water to remove any soap residue. Be careful not to get the leather too wet to avoid damaging the material.

3. DRYING

  • Gently blot the shoes with a clean towel to absorb excess water.
  • Avoid drying your leather shoes in direct sunlight or near a source of intense heat, as this may cause cracking or deformation. Let them air dry in a well-ventilated area.

4. FINISHINGS

  • Once the shoes are dry, apply a specific leather care product, such as a shoe polish or nourishing cream. This will help keep the leather supple, prevent cracking and extend the life of your shoes.
  • Use a soft cloth to polish the leather after applying the care product. This will help to revive the shine of the leather.
